Sweet, an OVA that outdoes the entire second season. =) It shouldn’t have been like this, but, yes, this OVA DOES INDEED outdo the entire second season. Badass Hei? Check. Yin? Check. Good action with Contractors? Check. Awful? Absolutely not. This is one of the best OVA episodes ever. It’s MAL. Sounds untrustworthy to the average MAL hater. But Highschool of the dead would prolly make this the very first anime with actual slow moving Dead people/walking dead Zombies. HOLY SHIT.

Since I have neither the time nor the inclination to create full blog posts anymore, I figured I would squeeze in some random thoughts about the anime I’m watching into one big blog post each weekend. Or that’s the current plan, anyway.
I’m certainly convinced now that DRRR!! has the best way to tell a back story. Meshing it all together in the fashion of Baccano! was probably quite a task. The end result, however, is perfect, in yet another satisfying episode. More lax than the others, this episode proves DRRR!! is very good at storytelling, and our own underground doctor narrates this time around.
