Japanese is a beautiful language. In fact, to not see wordplay and double-entendres is more of an oddity. If you’ve been fortunate enough to see Bakemonogatari or Nisemonogatari, word puns fly all over the place. To start this new segment I’m calling “Japanese 101,” so you can connect with the shows you’re watching a bit better. Since I studied Japanese like any other anime addict (until japanese 4), I wanted to share my knowledge with you! Lucky for me, I still remember my kana (phonetic characters) and most of my basic kanji (pictographic symbols), and still read my japanese books often. But enough about me! On to our new vocab word!

#18: Anniversary to Become a Family

Something P4A does well is the drama between Yu, Nanako, and Dojima, especially here in the anime. This week, we take a break from the case as well as the comedy to bring the tension of the Dojima family dramu into the anime. It’s when tears are shed, and a new family is born. Get ready for an episode full of Broswag.

After a ton of busy work, I have finally been able to scratch the tip of Mouretsu Pirates Episodes 5 and 6, chronicling the transition that Marika makes between being a member of the Odette II vessel for the Yacht Club and the Captain of the Bentenmaru. However, among getting what she needs to start her career in piracy, how will she handle the training she needs?

And so I decided to blog another live action movie, I came across this while trying to search for the series. Anywhoo, this is a LA adaption off the manga and anime Paradise Kiss (or Parakiss for short) I have to say, unlike Kimi ni Todoke LA I really wasnt that impressed, and kind of dissapointed. It’s not that a bad of a movie, decent I suppose just….not if youve seen the anime/read the manga, which im guess is most of the audience for this movie. Anywhoo, therell prolly be more ranting then “ZOMFG ASHUM MOVEH UGUIZ WATCHANO ^___^” >_>

I like Ai as a character, don’t get me wrong.  She’s a fantastic character who has witty lines and that soft sadistic side that likes to tease Junichi to show how much she loves him.  She’s a fine example of how a game could revolve around the romantic interest younger than you.  However, AIC fucks that up and makes her look like a complete romantic (and I mean sickeningly romantic) person who can’t live without Junichi.  Her laughs are annoying at the most random of places and she said something on the lines of “Oh no, why am I crying?” at least three times in this episode.  Sorry AIC, but you just fucked up a good follow-up arc.

So, I finally got around to watching the live action movie, and boy did it not dissapoint! In fact, a part of me liked it better then the series >_>

The world could go M for Kagerou

In our most recent of Inu x Boku SS’s, we find out the SS in the title has something to do with Sadomasochism, as we are introduced to a new shadowy guy named Kagerou. At first he seems to have ulterior motives, however when he becomes upfront about both his intention to marry Ririchiyo and to air out his love for BDSM, will ill notions of him continue to stay or will they disappear?

This episode seemed short to me, though it did not disappoint!

Feels were had everywhere!
