Now with dead cats

I watched this series a few years ago, and remember nothing. I feel like it is appropriate to get that out of the way.

The episode was actually pretty interesting despite the severe lack of Hei. I’m guessing the series starts two years after the events of the first. The whole “2 years before” segment leads me to believe this, where all of those contractors die. But that’s not important, what is important is how the episode starts and gradually becomes more intense.

After the flashback, we see April and a new character, August 7th. They talk, and stuff.

The episode gradually changes as it progresses, and gets more and more intense. Starts out as some cliche high school romance, but changes drastically when Suou’s friend, Tanya, suddenly becomes a contractor. From there it becomes crazy, as she attacks her new boyfriend, and is suddenly captured by the enemy dudes.

Shit gets serious after this, and Suou suddenly races back home. I guess I should bring up her brother? Yeah. During the flashback segment, a meteor strikes Suou, her father, and brother(Shion). Shion was almost killed by the strike while Suou and her father were almost unharmed. Well it looks like he is a contractor, and if one contractor is captured, you gotta bet another one will be too. That claim is based off of no logic whatsoever, but the enemy dudes figure out that something is going on in Suou’s place.

When Suou arrives at her home, via secret passage way, her brother is gone. Well, he talks to her telepathically and gives her stuff. What this stuff is, I really don’t know, but it must be important.

We see April again, who was impersonating some scientist woman, or was secretly acting like one? I really don’t know. She tries to help Suou escape, but it was all for nothing when one of the enemy dude shows up. This guy, Goran, happens to be a contractor. And man, he got the bad end of the bargain, having to eat awful fastfood hamburgers as a remuneration. I feel sorry for his cholesterol. Well, it doesn’t really matter though, he dies a painful death from rain. Possibly acid rain, or something else, maybe ice that is really sharp? Or maybe he was shot. lol I really don’t know, but it must’ve been the rain.

All is good in the world, and the episode basically has gone Hei-less, when bfhkjsd gkjdbgvkx jbgkjdfb  HEI shows up. And is as badass as ever. Hei and April fight each other until the episode ends on a cliffhanger. April attacks Hei, and then we see a meteor fall, which is a sign of a contractors death. The credits roll.

Well, it didn’t end on a cliffhanger. It was one of those “roll credits, then play 30 more seconds of the episode, then preview for the next.” April dies, and Hei is alive, all badass like. The dude really needs a haircut.

Seriously needs a haircut

Well I lied, I do remember something from the first series. November 11th died :(

Interesting ep, and I can’t wait for more. Maybe some of the unanswered things….. fuck, I don’t even remember what those were. 3 out of 5.
