Dragons and Wolves (Dragon Crisis 06)

*Sigh*
Can I call Rose a type B Tsundere? The inverted kind? As in, the kind that acts dere dere towards her love interest, but Tsun to just about everyone else (Especially the other contenders like Marga and the new Wolf girl Ai)?
Because that fits Rose down to a T at this point. Aside from the fact that she hits Ryuji when she thinks he’s cheating. >_>
Heh, I like that they’re already a couple at least. But they haven’t even kissed… so My Mileage varies from time to time.
This show’s actually getting better for me. The beginning was annoying to say the least, but now it’s just all Urban fantasy fun with a bit of comedy and action to go along with it. That’s the kind of shit I like.
Quick summary:
Ryuji, on his way to a Society party, meets a brown haired girl trying to save a cat. Later, he learns of a thief called Katnappe Odd Eye that steals Shen Gong Wu Lost Preciouses. At that moment, The thief in question is at the party and begins stealing Lost Preciouses. When she tried to steal Eriko’s LP, Ryuji stops her, only for him to recognize the thief as the girl he met outside earlier. The thief escapes, but returns to Ryuji’s home to steal Eriko’s LP again. This time they capture her and interrogate her to find out why she’s stealing LP’s. It turns out her name is Ai. She’s under orders from her master. Later that night, a man that Eriko met at the Society party comes into the house and puts Eriko and Rose to sleep, revealing that he’s Ai’s master. At that time, Ryuji is also put to sleep and kidnapped.
Yeah, shitty summary. Just watch the episode if you wanted more.
But still, many crowning moments of funny here.
Heh.
1. Ai is turned on the moment her ears and tail are touched. It was funny when Rose grabbed the tail, calling it a “fluffy” or something like that.
2. Rose has gone into a “Don’t cheat on me” mode. I like this Rose. She’s so much more tolerable and so much better than she was in the beginning. I don’t mind this Rose. And I can look past the VA’s past roles as annoying bitches. Because for once, Rie Kugumiya isn’t an annoying bitch.
But hey, I’m impressed that Ryuji found out fairly quickly that the girl he met at the party outside was the Odd Eye thief the moment he got a good look at her face. At least he’s not dense to important shit. I would’ve been ready to punch my screen if he didn’t make the connection right away.
Not to mention all the blatant les yay between Ai and Eriko. Make it what you will.
Again, Rose was all kinds of adorable and cute, being a clingy jealous girl. And The culprit/Ai’s master turns out to be the bishie Eriko met at the party. I… honestly wasn’t expecting that, actually, considering that I thought that he was hitting on Eriko at first. Ah well, If I were to say that I’m liking this show, I’ll be looked down on. But fuck that, I’m starting to love this show.
/quick post.
Now to blog Fractale.

Rose is, after all the only reason because most of us watch this series isn’t it? :P
wolf-girl is surprisingly naive.
