Waffle Radio 32: 2012 Winter Season First Impressions

Okay, so my account on Mevio got suspended by the bitches and whores who work there, so i decided to become Steve Jobs and invent the iMad, for people like me.
But anyway, here’s the first impressions, following the same chart we had for the winter preview.

Natsume Yuujinchou – Still love it
New Prince of Tennis – Also watching this so you’re not alone Chaps. I also don’t know which is more absurd. This or Inazuma Eleven
Milkey Holmes S2 – Dear God I agree. The girls have gotten EVEN STUPIDER. But at least it made some official Rule 63 of the girls.
Recorder to Randerasu – I like it. Poor kid can’t catch a break.
Daily Lives of Highschool Boys – LOVE IT!
Another – Need to catch up
Rinne No Lagrange – I watched the first episode. Been planning to catch up.
Black Rock Shooter – It’s out now so I wonder when you guys did this.
Mouretsu Pirates – I like it.
Inu Boku SS – She’s not a tsundere! She’s a TSUNSHUN. Which is abrasive and then depressed.
Brave 10 – Sengoku Japan. WITH MAGIC AND NINJAS.
Aquarion EVOL – I’m watching Aquarion! I like it a lot more than the original series.
Nisemonogatari – Kaiki just another money hungry bitch.
Ano Natsu De Matteru – I need to catch up. On episode 2 right now.
I’m surprised you haven’t done a review of the Sengoku Basara Movie Jubbz considering you watched both seasons.
I hadn’t been in the mood to blog lately…

Will watch later, but here are my thoughts on the series I’m watching so far (SPOILERS AHEAD):
GUILTY CROWN 2nd COUR
Better than first cour by far, even though I was one of the few who actually liked it. Shu can now kick anyone’s ass.
MIRAI NIKKI 2nd COUR
Yukkii, however, is a little harder to place on the alpha-beta scale. Mostly beta. Minene is now my favorite diary holder ever since Yuno went beyond the kind of crazy I’m used to. Both Sevenths are awesome.
HIGH SCHOOL DXD
Much better than I expected. Also a lot darker than I expected. Issei is a surprisingly good protagonist. I like how Rias doesn’t hit him for perverted things, and only gets angry at him whenever he does things that may conflict with her beliefs (i.e., dabbling in the affairs of an exorcist). Reynalle is a bitch and I’m glad she’s dead.
RINNE NO LAGRANGE
How could you guys look over Production I.G writing the script back in the preview podcast? XEBEC was just doing the animation, for the love of… Other than that, the yuri subtext is delicious.
BLACK ROCK SHOOTER TV
A little more sensible and the 3D animation was surprisingly well-done, but even I think the OVA was better in a number of ways. Also, Kagari is as creepy as fuck. And thanks to that series, I discovered the real reason why Seinfeld ended with the four main characters in jail.
