AO: Call It What You Want
AO emancipated from it’s parent show for a reason, let’s hope it finds the correct path.
Dillo: all right, ready Cido?
Dillo: Easiest place to being would be the opening song. Titled Escape and sung by one of Japan’s worst J-pop/rock artists. Not only is not pleasant to listen to, it makes it seem as though the whole anime series will blow. The scenes depicted in the opening don’t bring much imagery but it does hint that Naru might die. That would be a shame but not as bad as this opening.
cidz: HAHA yeah well they defz could of done better so it was kinda a disspapointment i mean it wasnt TOO bad maybe if put on another series it woulda fit better. but E7 is usually known for its subperb music soo yeah OP didnt reallly leave much impressions. and i hope naru doesnt die! thats the girl right? aos gf?
Dillo: I will admit that E7′s music was catchy and one its likeable points but AO doesn’t truly have song or track that makes you want it to hear it completely. Naru is Ao’s gf, did you see how many scenes had her protrayed as spiritually being there and not exactly physically? Plus her delicate health is another point to consider. Let’s hope she lives until the end because Ao has some emotional stability issues.
cidz: hmmm…..yeah they keep focusing on her bad health. but then again she can sense alotta times or see wuts going on with Ao so maybe shell learn to astral project?
Dillo: There does seem to be an unnatural connection, for example when Ao nearly passed out due to the G-forces, Naru managed to keep him awake. Her ability to see the future is handy but observing without the possiblity of alterating must be frustrating.
cidz: i bet! that must be hard to see ur bf fight like that and you cant rly do much about it lol. Also i hope Ao doesnt go off the whinny end like his dear ol papa >_> Thats one thing i liked bout Ao he wasnt all WHHHHHAAAAA LIIIIIIIIFEEEE SUCCCKKKKKKSSSS
Dillo: One thing the show lacks is bad ass moments. For example when that delivery man tried to land his flying car ontop of the ship, the show tried to sell it as Mazing but it’s pathetic compared to sky surfing done in the first series. The only moment that seemed noteworthy is when Ao didn’t panic because of a lost arm and instead used it to whack the G-monster on the head. Kudos to Ao for surviving the Renton phase in such a short time.
cidz: Yesh! Gotta love Ao for staying pretty cool during those moments! I hope he keeps it up..at the end he seemd to be all WHAAAA IDDDDDKK WUT TO DO T___T but he got over it at least haha. I know it doesnt have many moments of badass…i liked the sky surfing more then the flying cars. theres always flying cars in sci-fi the surfing thing was something diff. well its only the 2nd ep s maybe therell be sme badass moments
Dillo: Again, this show seems more futuristic rather than fantasy. Perhaps the most shocking development so far is that it’s almost official, E7: AO is not a continuation of E7 but rather another story based on the original. Meaning that anyone and all who expected to see what became of their beloved characters will find only despair. This series intends to stand alone and be engross the audience with new characters.
cidz: awwww yeah it does seem that way. im kinda dissapointed i rly wanted to see the chars from the past. but at the same time its prolly time to jus let them go theyre stories were told haha so itll be nice to see brand new chars
Dillo: Indeed, let’s leave the old hippies rest in peace and concentrate on this story’s plot. Basically it’s your typical super powers trying to find a way to be superior to it’s counter parts. Inventing that nuclear weapon or in this case, utilizing the mysterious alien power capable of destroying cities. In the middle of everything is Ao who has no idea what the hell he’s gotten into nor does he now the effect his actions will have.
cidz: yeah! not to mention he got his blue hair which means he might be the corolian of this series i mean he is half
Dillo: That kind of hair doesn’t make him disgusting at all as he once thought. It’s just exotic and most girls like that. Now when those butterfly wings start emerging, then he’ll have a hard time forming a harem.
cidz: AHAHAHA true…..speaking of which it does seem to be forming a harem
Dillo: The two pilots from Pied Piper(I think that’s their name) are possibly on the main cast and we’ll be seeing them alot in future episodes. One of them is basically moe and rather childish while the other seems more like a tomboy. Never been a fan of pink haired girls and hopefully the blonde will have a personality.
cidz: ahhh those girls from that special organization? i forgot thier names. Yeah seems that way haha. Aww no pink haired girls? Well, i guess we have to wait to see thier personalities we didnt get much on em
Dillo: The leader of said organization appearently is an acquaintance of Eureka, therefore it might be an incentive for Ao to join Generation Blue. Which from the OP we know he will but should at least be better than Renton’s “I want to hang out with the cool guys”
cidz: ahhhh lol. and OPs sure can spoil sometimes well nothin major. yeah at least hell have a reason for joining. maybe the guy gets him to join by mentioning his mom?
Dillo: That would be the most logical turn of events however if everything turns out like it’s supposed to, it won’t be fun or exciting to watch. I’m still wondering though if finding out this is not a true sequel bother you at all. I mean, if I truly loved the first series and found out they were making another not as a continuation but rather as a parallel story would make me rage.
cidz: nah not really haha. i mean sure id like to see wut happened to the chars from the 1st one and it be cool to see cameos by em. but i think its cool if they jus focus on diff chars. at least then it seems a bit more original then “seeing wut happens to the chars from the 1st one”
Dillo: Dear god, you like everything, even if it tramples on your hopes and expectations. Even if desecrates the memory of a show you onced hoped to be buried with. How can you put so much trust into new characters that may or not be worse than the characters you already love to a stalker/creep kind of level? Oh well, it’s going to be extremely difficult for AO to do any worse than E7, I’m still willing to give it a chance.
cidz: well i didnt love E7 THAT much. heck ive only rly seen it once on [as] haha >_> and lol idk so far i already like Ao better then Renton and his gf better then eureka…so yeah i doubt itll get any worse. im sure ill like it
Nothing concrete on the plot as of yet, character development is at it’s infancy, and no reason to be hooked to the series as of now. Everything deserves a chance…might as well give AO one too.
