Bonnouji is a manga i was recently recommended to read and i instantly fell in love! So i decided to take my hand at doing my own badass guide to stuff and present to you all a cute slice-of-life romance manga! Also this story is only 18 chaps and it goes by fast, it’s still going but worth reading imo!

Summary: Bonnouji is about a 26 year old girl (whats this!? a char in thier 20s!? THIS STORY IS ABOUT ADULTS!? yeah….you’ll be glad to know that this isnt another HS romance anime, thier all in thier 20s.) Anywhoo, it’s about a girl who asks her neighbor a few stories down to borrow his restroom, she drank too much and has to piss like a racehorse. After using his tolietries she stops and takes a look at his apartment. What she shes is uh….it looks like he should go on that TLC show, horders. Turns out however that it’s not him thats the collector but his brother. His brother wants to travel around the world before he becomes a monk (his family is a shrine family) so he sends all his useless junk over to his younger brother!

The girl is so fascinated by his stuff, and the fact he offers her free booze (btw shes kindasortareally a drunkard >_> ) and thus begans a friendship of visting him and getting to know him.

Ozawa

She’s the main girl of the story, Ozawa starts out at age 26 but by ch 18 shes already 28? Anyway like i said above she started taking an interst in Oyamada by using his bathroom and becoming fascinated with his stuff. She usually likes to come over to his house almost daily just to unwind, get drunk, and play with his stuff. She’s a cute and quirky heroine. She isn’t all perfect or dainty or all perfectly nice like ur typical romance heroine either. She has a pretty intersting personality. I also love that she isnt some virginal maiden either and all OHZNOZ THIS IS MY FIRST BF OHZNOZ!!! She was actually in a 5 yr relationship before and had recently broken up with her ex bf when she meets Oyamada. She also doesn’t start to fall for him right away, they really do start out as friends.

Oyamada

ZOMSDLFKSJFLSF ZOMGGAAAH J00 GUIZ THIS GUY IS TEH BEST GUY EVAR HES THE MOSTSTSTEST ADORABLEST GUY AND I LUV HIM HE BECAME MAH HUSBANDO INSTNTLY I MEAN LEWK AT HOW ADRAOBLE HE IS LOOOOOOOOOKKKKK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTEEEEEE AND HE HAS TEH MOST ADORABLEST PERSONALITY EVAR LIEK U DUN EVEN KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE HIM IF I EVER MEET A GUY LIKE HIM IRL I SWEAR TO GOD I WLL MARRY HIM EVEN IF I HAVE TO NTR HIM I WILL MAKE HIM MINE SDLFKSJFLSKFJALFKSLFAJALFDKJALFJ 333333333

*ahem* ok that aside, this adorable guy right here is Oyamada. He’s so cute and as you can tell i love him >_> but uh, ok that aside. he’s the main guy in this story. He’s sort of a loner but he has a few friends (well i know he has one which that guy is AWESOME ill explain him next) and a horder for a brother that likes to pawn his crappy stuff onto him. Oyamada doesn’t mind because he likes reciveing packages in the mail, he says its like christmas to him haha. He’s a little shy and a little akward but a whole lot of cuteness 33 i also love that despite his shy nature he still has the guts to say his feelings and make a move. He also has a quirky personality, that often leads to some comedic moments like this one below:

Moments like these is what really makes me LOL with this series, and how cute he really is. <3 Anyway, he and the girl work great and altho i love him i love them together and theyve become my new OTP <3

Shimamoto (aka Shimapon)

Shimamoto is Oyamada’s friend that often comes by to visit (just about daily lol). Oyamada gave him the nickname Shimapon because of his addiction to Manjon. This guy is pretty lolz and really is like your typical friend, he likes teasing Oyamada and Ozawa but he’s also a pretty cool bro. But its really kinda funny when he teases them <3 especially Oyamada about confessing to Ozawa. The nice thing about him is hes a real bro, you can tell he’s not gonna try and NTR Ozawa away or anything he thinks of her also as a friend. Which is kind of nice ya know? (unless later on mangaka decides to add drama…which im kinda hoping they wont…i mean dont get me wrong i luv my triangle dramas but sometimes i want something diff! sometimes i jus want a bro to stay a bro!)

The thing that I also love about this manga is that its sensible and natural.

I really am enjoying this series so much that i wish i didnt have to wait for chaps! I also cant wait to see more Oyamada. I’m quite serious if i ever come across a guy like him ill make him mine >_> Well, i hope people read this! Its really alotta fun <3
