Full Metal Panic
Continuing my posts about shows I’ve just finished up, we have Full Metal Panic.
This show was pretty good.
I loved everything about Full Metal Panic. And I mean everything. The characters were great, the action was awesome, and the comedy was superb. Gauron was an awesome villain, the kind of completely evil and awesome that only an anime villain can provide. The main characters and supporting cast were very entertaining as well, whether they be part of the high school or part of the military.
The blend of action and comedy was great, but the pure-action episodes were among the best I’ve seen. I especially liked the arc where
Another aspect of the show I really liked where the character designs, which reminded me (and apparently others) of the characters from Martian Successor Nadesico.
Although Sousuke and Akito were pretty different, the ladies shared some personality and situation traits, which made the FMP even more entertaining, as I am a big fan of Martian Successor Nadesico. The character designs for Tessa and Kaname are very attractive, and I liked their personalities as well. Here’s a sexy shot of them and two other characters I’m assuming are from one of the later seasons.
As lovely as the silver-haired Tessa was, I really liked Kaname’s character the best. She is incredibly feisty, but manages to still be very cute and girly at times as well. I’d easily count her among my favorite female anime characters, and as I said, Tessa was quite lovely as well.
Here are some totally NSFW pictures of the two in all their hawtness. Again, these are NSFW. You have been warned.
In any case, waifu of the show is Kaname.
I’m giving it a 9/10, and am very much ready to see the next two seasons.
