In this week’s MGX, Tsubaki has a dream that Urabe asked him to grab her boobs and being the doof he is, he now is dead-set on grabbing her gams. However, when Urabe agrees to let him honk those honkers, the show takes a dark, horrific turn.

We begin with the breast dream, but since that can be summed up as simply as “he dreamed he grabbed her boobs”, there isn’t much to really add to it. There is a highlarious moment when Tsubaki’s sister is enjoying two meat buns which may remind you of a certain part of a woman’s anatomy.

Tsubaki, being the human GPS he is, miraculously finds Urabe’s apartment and is camping out, hoping to get a feel on those boobs. Urabe catches Tsubaki but tells him that since he’s already there, he might as well visit her home despite no one being home to greet them.

"They're in the ducttape-covered room, but don't open it because I love you, Yuk~i"

Because this anime is created by Hoods, they chose a wonderful opportunity to have Urabe take off her coat to reveal her turtleneck sweater which shows off what Tsubaki has been pining for this whole time.

I'll give the show credit, I do quite like a good sweater on a busty lady

With a thunderstorm, Tsubaki is able to capitalize on his perverted desires when Urabe trips over a coffee mug and he goes in for the rebound. However, he’s a massive dumbass and rather than being covert about it, he literally tries to reach for Urabe’s rack right in front of her eyes

I believe the correct term would be "too stupid to live"

Urabe figures that there’s something he wants, so she gives him the once in a lifetime opportunity to grab her knockers after he boldly tells her that he dreamed that Urabe let him grab them.

HONK HONK

This starts off as just some innocuous groping but Tsubaki starts to notice something: he feels her heart beating through her boobs. It seems right about now that Tsubaki got what he wanted and felt her boob, just like in the dream. Simple enough. It’s high time for Tsubaki to go back to sitting down and enjoying some more coffee-

Yup, they did it. They had Tsubaki molest Urabe by pinning her down, licking her ear, and almost making out with her until she was on brink of tears. What makes this shit even creepier is that she says she’s not angry which is either a sign of Stockholm syndrome or the tears were a result of an orgasm caused by being pinned down and having her ear licked. Tsubaki feels guilty about this and walks away but the shame will remain with him for as long as he lives.

The next day, Urabe and Oka are talking about the weekend as Urabe brings up what Tsubaki did with her. Rather than going into emphasis, Urabe had Oka taste her spit to find out. The resulting saliva made Oka blush to the point in fogging up her glasses, proving that Urabe was turned on by Tsubaki licking her ear (and somehow changing her genetic makeup but the logic behind Urabe’s “power” was all BS to begin with)

Tsubaki is still guilty about his impulses and while Urabe tries to ignore it, he demands Urabe to hit him to make up for making her cry.

"I don't wanna die without any scars. So come on; hit me before I lose my nerve."

She gives him her slap but soon after she tells him that he changed her and now whenever her ear is touched, tears flow out, but apparently it’s tears of pleasure according to her.

Now I know the excuse I'll make if someone catches me tearing up at the end of Return of the King

She tastes Tsubaki’s spit because she feels bad for having to slap him when she wasn’t mad at all about the molestation and liked it. She even goes as far as saying that she blames herself and that she was asking for it by having Tsubaki grope her…

I want to like this show. I really want to like this show. But it’s really gone downhill as of late with the meh beach episode, the episode where Tsubaki claimed Urabe’s legs as his, and it’s crowning moment in creepy with sexual abuse overtones permeating Tsubaki’s intense desire to pin down Urabe and take advantage of her. I know I’m not the best person to argue against this as a connoisseur of smut who would defend the KissxSis and Boku no Pico franchises as “art”, but when it comes to non-consensual force being depicted as love, it makes me feel unclean. Tsubaki slightly redeemed himself by having some guilt which is at least something, the damage was done and he’s probably going to do it again judging from all the times he’s tried to hug/rape Urabe, and even if Urabe wasn’t angry about it, the victim-blaming she did to herself is such a crock of shit and doesn’t seem like anything Urabe 3 episodes ago would say. And don’t fucking tell me that’s because of “character development” because she devolved from a weird yet quirky girl with self-respect to a delicate flower who is perfectly fine with Tsubaki “putting her in her place” and “owning her”. I expected this much from Hoods, but not from the source material when the beginning was so promising and charming. I went into this ready and willing to take on as much spit as Urabe could provide, but I fear that with this episode I’m going to leave with something far nastier than that.
