Well I finally got around to catching up and finishing Sankarea. I’ve been so lazy with anime lately! not just blogging, really its like watching anime idk maybe im getting burnt out. Anyway, so I’ll be giving my overall thoughts on this series. But I gotta say I did enjoy it.

So uh lets see…..well i liked the series, i didnt LOVE it, but i thought it was fun to watch. I gave it my average score of 8 on MAL (i rate high idk why i just do >_> ) I liked Rea i thought she was adorable! defz not your typical zombie LOL. I even didnt really hate the dad in the end. turns out he was just a creepo pedo cuz Rea reminded him of his 1st wife (wait….his 1st wife was like 15…when he was already a grown man in his 20s…ok yeah hes kind of a pedo) who was also Rea’s real mom. Aria was just a made that the dad married for the hell of it. I guess tho i can understand why Aria is a drunk and why her dad is creepy kinda? in the end tho he did agree to let Rea stay with Chihiru so i thought that was cool.

I also wonder how much longer Rea has? The ending was a bit of a cliffhanger but nothing srs. i mean i think it would be cool if we had a 2nd seas. id watch it. maaaaayybeee blog it, if i was in the mood to do so. Anyway, i thought it was a fun series to watch. didnt get much romantic development between chihiru and Rea, but i guess thats ok lol.

I was kinda dissapointed we didnt find out much more about the grandpa, and how it seemed he tried his hand at ressurecting before. I was hoping to find out a bit more about that, but ah well.

So yeah, decent series overall, it was fun to watch, id recz it for ppl to watch if they wanted to. also i liked the cat Babu such a cute zombie kitteh <3
