This time, they’re mad. In fact, they’re encountering the angels that they all killed with the EVA units. Most which were destroyed by Eva unit 01. We focus on the never-before-seen members of NERV that also died. This is their stories.

Since Angel/Tachibana is no longer an enemy (never was actually), it would only be natural that the show would make a play on Naruto and Death Note a bit.
