First allow me to say this. Fuck ’09. Worst year ever.

With that outta my system, Let’s go to achievements we’ll be shooting for. Yeah, I’m feeling X-box-y right now.

You know what that means?

That means we’ve reached 30,000 hits and getting at least 400 or more every day. Pretty impressive considering that we’re still greenhorns in the Animu/Mango blogsphere. But We do intend to aim higher.

And the other achievement?

Basically means that the site’s been fully moved to the new host and paid off for a whole year, despite the fact i had to leech off my brother a little. But it all worked out in the end, right? Yeah. I mean, I didn’t wanna be forced to start over. >.>

Oh, and gotta give RP (Rabbit Poets, not Role Play) a shout for pointing me in the right direction. I wouldn’tve managed to begin blogging at all if it wasn’t for that.

Without further ado, Let’s tell you guys what we hope to achieve this year.

  1. Better Quality Posts
  2. 100,000 hits. Nah, maybe 400,000. More comments. WE NEED SUM LUUUUUUV.
  3. Cover more shows from the past
  4. Generally keep having fun with blogging
  5. A new banner (undecided) and maybe a new favicon too. Like this. Other suggestions will be considered.
  6. Create an RSS Feed type blogroll.
  7. Getting more organized

-Yeah. Pretty much a given here yes? I’m pretty sure you’re asking what i mean by better quality posts. Which in this case, means, continuing to find my own style instead of ripping off the style of other anime bloggers.  I mean, I haven’t seen every blog out there, and well, we all just want our own unique style. But that’s not enough! It needs to have quality and it needs to be fun to read and be worth reading! We here, at CSW ask that you give us some sort of critique for us as a whole, or individually, based on how our posts are, or just in general. You know, let us know if we’re giving you guys genuine quality or QUALITY so we can have you guys asking for more.

- the Hits? Well its just as it says. The more hits we have, the more richer we get. Well, not literally, but i feel like i’m managing a Chicken and Waffles restaurant. And we gotta have customers to make money. Alas, this is just a weird ass metaphor. You get the drift. More comments hopefully too. Show us some love, ya’ll!

- Covering more shows from the past. Yeah, that too. We want more shows on our blogroll so we can have a variety of shows our readers can look at. Speaking of which, we at CSW use what cid coined, the Bakuman approach. What is the Bakuman approach you ask? Well, there was a chapter in the manga of Bakuman (read it) where Mashiro and Tagaki wanted to do a mystery type manga they wanted to go for (This was before Detective Trap got serialized). Their editor, Hattori, told them that even though a mystery isn’t what Jump usually goes for, they’ll at least have a following. See, Jump usually does all that Battle manga shit. Mashiro and Tagaki wanted to be different and somehow change Jump. We wanna do the same thing. We want to be different, and 9 times outta ten, we’ll blog a show no one else will blog. Not that i’ll check every single blog, but at least use that approach to stand out a bit more. If that makes sense. Well, i shoulda said all of that in the spot about better posts, but bah, I’m Jubbz, and i do what i want.

- Generally having fun. Well, we’re already doing that, but Justice might troll. You can’t tell with that guy. I might troll too. Maybe make fun of them tweens on MAL or some shit. Cuz they be nerve wrecking.

- New Banner? Well, it’s not that I’m getting tired of Ayumu or anything, i just wanna change up every once n a while. I mean, I want a little style. Don’t expect a new banner so quick. The favicon though, that’s getting a change real soon. Why? Because it’s the SAME AS MY GRAVATAR, and now that i think about it, i feel narcissist.. I’m not that narcisstic!  FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

- Creating an RSS Feed type Blogroll. Yeah, I wanna steal Netto’s idea and make a blogroll with the RSS feeds of many blogs I read. I mean, If i knew how that is. I’ll ask him one of these days. :|
But yeah, The blogroll on the side, I add a blog occasionally because it shows i like your blog. I mean, If you want me to show some love, feel free.

- Getting more organized. Yeah, We want you guys to be able to easily find our posts. So, there’s an added section on the side called COMPLETED ANIME. Right under CURRENTLY BLOGGING, and i recommend you just click the name of the show you’re looking for. And one more thing, I’m quite a completionist, so i usually finish every show i start blogging, whether it goes for my shows or anyone else’s shows. Except One Piece. That show’ll never end. :|
