If you’re wondering why I only blogged half the series, there were multiple reasons for why I stopped that ultimately can be summed up as confusion amongst the writers here.  It’s not that I’ve gotten lazy, but after some miscommunication, I’m finally here to finish up the series.

I like Ai as a character, don’t get me wrong.  She’s a fantastic character who has witty lines and that soft sadistic side that likes to tease Junichi to show how much she loves him.  She’s a fine example of how a game could revolve around the romantic interest younger than you.  However, AIC fucks that up and makes her look like a complete romantic (and I mean sickeningly romantic) person who can’t live without Junichi.  Her laughs are annoying at the most random of places and she said something on the lines of “Oh no, why am I crying?” at least three times in this episode.  Sorry AIC, but you just fucked up a good follow-up arc.

This episode made me rage.  But before I get into my raging, I have to give credits to the other blogs I read for Amagami SS+ that are interesting to read.  Not a lot of people blog Amagami SS and I’m surprised as to why not.  Nevertheless, that’s their choice and not mine.  Amagami is a great series and here are some of the people who help me to recognize it:

I could have expected many things from this episode and personally from one of my more favorite characters of the Amagami world.  There were many things that could have been said that might have made this episode more entertaining than it was.   The only thing I really liked about this episode was the fact that it made so many Rihochi-fanboys shout out “YAY” when I tossed up my hands in the air and thought “What the hell was that..?”

The thing that bugs me the most whenever I hear anything involving Rihoko’s arc is how 99% of the Amagami-watching community asks the same damn question, “Will Rihoko be friendzoned again?”  My friends, the friendzone is an area of miserable experiences that one cannot simply get out of.  I was talking with Jubbz the other day and he basically said, “If Rihoko stays in the friendzone, I’m dropping the series.”  My dear Jubbz, there’s only such a small chance that she will get out of it.

I love Ayatsuji Tsukasa.  So while I was downloading this episode, I had a bittersweet moment about the series as a whole.  Arguably, this will be the last episode of Ayatsuji Tsukasa that will most likely ever be made (although I wouldn’t say no to a third season), and Ayatsuji is one of my most favorite girls not because of her looks or anything, but the personality that resembles my girlfriend whom I love so much as well.  Good thing she’ll never read this, since she’d probably take me to her room and lecture me about life.

My favorite romantic comedy of 2010-2011 comes back with twelve regular season episodes.  It looks like the first arc (two episodes each) will be featuring Ayajitsu Tsuaka.  While I may have commented on other blogs who’ve already blogged this episode (actually, only one has at this point), my concerns went something like this.

“…that I feel while although they wanted the ball to get rolling on the season starting with arguably one of the most popular characters of the series, we might’ve gotten a lesser quality story than we expected.  I mean last season, the middle arcs were fairly lesser in quality compared to the final Ayajitsu Tsukasa arc (you cannot deny how epic that was), so that leads me to believe that they could’ve come up with a better story had Ayajitsu Tsukasa been the last arc.”
