For any of you who knows FMA well, Izumi Curtis is one badass alchemist. And we’ve heard Ed and Al mention how she survived a month in training up at Mt. Briggs causing problems for the Briggs men that were there. Well, with this 3rd OVA we finally get to see the story behind it. And as a bonus, we get to see how Izumi met her husband. Yay? Highly entertaining episode this week chocked full of closure and new plot developments and advancements, so basically it was a transitional episode, but a damn good one. Things kick off with Ed and Al reflecting on their journey thus far and what the future holds for them. They determine that their next priority should be to find out more about Eastern alchemy and why Scar and Mei could use it during the fight against father while they could not.
