In our most recent Mouretsu, Marika must come to terms with her slipping grades. However, it is difficult for her to do that as she has to multitask pirating as well. Can she handle a cram session or will distractions and procrastination constantly plague her like the rest of us?

After a ton of busy work, I have finally been able to scratch the tip of Mouretsu Pirates Episodes 5 and 6, chronicling the transition that Marika makes between being a member of the Odette II vessel for the Yacht Club and the Captain of the Bentenmaru. However, among getting what she needs to start her career in piracy, how will she handle the training she needs?

In one of the Winter season’s more promising shows, Mouretsu Pirates chronicles the tale of Marika Katou, a teenage maid cafe employee who discovers that she is next in line to become a pirate as the daughter of a now-deceased legendary pirate. By the time I got my grubby hands on the series though, we got 2 episodes of material that aired, so why not look into everything that’s in store for the show?
