Oh Hi, I Didn’t See You There

I’m Teru, the newest addition to the CSW family. I’m a Journalism student at University but I’ve always wanted to write casually for a blog like this, so this is kinda like a mini-dream come true. I have a tumblr and a twitter also, which is where I previously released my rants and reviews.

I’m hoping to jazz up this site with some game reviews really, as that’s my prime interest, but I’m also a keen anime lover so there’ll be some of that too. I’m into pretty much anything Nintendo release, and anime wise I adore Hetalia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Mirai Nikki, Gurren Lagann, Ouran High School Host Club aaaaand Puella Madoka Magi Magica. I’m currently watching Tamako Market, which is one pretty weird-ass show. I am vice-chairman of an anime society at my University where we put on anime viewings and stuff like that every week.

I’m pretty up to date with movies too, but being a few weeks or months behind American release dates doesn’t really help in making me a ‘first-to-review’ kind of blogger, but I’ll give it a shot.

Thanks for letting me join this circle of bloggers, I’m really looking forward to writing about some cool-ass shit with you guys.

This sums me up pretty well.

All Good Things Come to an End

I really did not believe that I would be writing this post soon. You hear about anime bloggers tending to quit after 2-3 years because it’s because of their life is changing or they’ve just lost interest. A little less than a year ago, I laughed when I heard that after I had jumped ship from Bokutachi no Blog. I needed a team of venturers and people who loved anime, and more importantly who cared more about their blog stats and how many people visited. To be honest, there were a lot of pools to choose from as I considered applying for a lot of them. In the end, I decided on one site and contacted Jubbz.

A “Nu” Blog Writer Appears!

Hey guys and girls :D My name is Matthew, a.ka. Glen Cocoe, a.k.a. Nu, a.k.a. FaS, a.k.a. a Pimp named Chiyo-Chan, a.k.a…lol ok you get the picture. Anyways, for those of you who don’t know, I also run the site Finallyanime.com and have taken a small break from it due to a couple issues I’m having.

As many of you all may or may not know, I was actually hit & ran over by a car over a year ago, and lost the ability to walk. So in turn, i’ve spent over a year doing rehab and healing various wounds inflicted upon me. To keep myself sane, I watch anime almost everyday – just like many of you do. In spite of the aforementioned, for me, just watching isn’t nearly enough. I feel the NEED to share what i think with my fellow anime lovers.

As a kid, and even a young adult, I’ve never had many people to discuss anime with, so as you can imagine, getting online was the perfect solution. Oh, and by the way…if my first few posts seem a little sophomoric, please excuse me, as I haven’t written in over a year. But at any rate, I’m very glad to be a part of Chocolate Syrupy Waffles, especially since I’ve been following it ever since I even thought about writing.

I’ll be writing about Guilty Crown, and other opinion pieces and anime editorials. Also, I might do some reviews, along with tech stuff every blue moon.
