If there’s one newly released vidja that I’ve been excited to play around the end of the year, it wasn’t all the hype games that I could easily buy here and understand in English no problemo. I just have to be “one of those guys” and say E.X. Troopers, the sugar-coated Lost Planet spin-off that I imported after being addicted to the PS3 demo was the one new game I wanted. However, is the end result as good as the demo? Read more for the review.

A spin-off in heart of the Badass Guide to Stuffs, here is where it goes back to its roots about being an education tool for snobs to brag to their friends and family about knowing more about things they are too feeble-minded or uneducated to know, and possibly losing them in the process. Who needs them anyways? They probably think that Pokemon is schoolgirl tentacle rape cartoons.
This one is on the breakout star from South Korea known as Psy, the man behind Gangnam Style which has become a cultural zeitgeist across the world. However, what uncultured swine don’t know is that he isn’t a breakout star and his career has spanned over 10 years over with numerous charting hits in in the land of Hyundai’s, boy bands, and soap operas starring members of boy bands, so lets dig into everything that has culminated in his discography and impress the pants off of your family in time for the holiday gatherings by telling them you knew the Psy before Gangnam Style, you massive hipster.
I feel a lot like Slowpoke just now watching a film that’s been out for 11 years and was touted by Tarantino as one of his favorite films that he wish he made, but then again, this is probably a feeling that most Americans have since it finally came to the States in its legal form in March of 2012 (no doubt because of the success of The Hunger Games and the legions of people pointing out the discrepancies between that and Battle Royale). Luckily for me, the same library that supplied me with Lovely Complex: The Live Action Movie got in a copy of Battle Royale that I was able to see for myself and analyze for the deeper contexts within it.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaah, remember how I’d go on and ON about Devil Survivor 2 whenever I did weaboo-ize me. This game came here to the US back in February, and i at that time, i was already considering playing the first Devil Survivor game. But when i heard that this one was way better, then i thought, “WHY NOT!”
See, the game is actually really fun, but difficult. Well, the first two playthroughs anyway…
Taking place during the course of a single week, this game is about survival in a world that’s practically that’s on it’s last leg. And to think, everything was fine last Sunday.
I will be reviewing this game, and it’ll be a big review, because i have a lot to say about this game and my experience with it. Due to it being so long, the review is split into several pages past this Read-more button.

Most anime games are ass. Aside from cult classics like Hokuto no Ken, Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure and Budokai 3, most either fail to capture the spirit of the show, were cheaply thrown together hoping to cash in on the show, or both. Even Gundam has been guilty of such games as many of which (namely Dynasty Warriors) involve raping the Square or X button’s as much as you can with barely any of the soul or spirit of the shows.
Well those days are numbered, as Gundam Extreme Vs. is not only the best Gundam game ever made, but one of the best anime games out there, and though my recommendations have backfired with Life is Money pissing me off, I’ve had Gundam Extreme Vs. for about half a year and love every moment of it, going as far as to selling any of my crappy games to spend more time with it. Allow me to elaborate in this post in a number of reasons why it’s made of awesome!
Lots of stuff went down in this episode, and not in a good way. I for one, am not happy about the direction the show went, although we’ll see what Ghost thinks.
This is the Miles Davis album Milestones. It is awesome.
Chaps started the “Badass Guide To Stuffs” thing awhile ago, and I’m going to start putting my own spin on it by writing up a brief post on whatever series I recently finished watching, or at least I will try to until life drives me back down into its abysmal pit of suck.
What does not suck is Yugo the Negotiator.
Bonnouji is a manga i was recently recommended to read and i instantly fell in love! So i decided to take my hand at doing my own badass guide to stuff and present to you all a cute slice-of-life romance manga! Also this story is only 18 chaps and it goes by fast, it’s still going but worth reading imo!
